Based on recent data, the population of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the identical timeframe, the number of female centenarians increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
